The hardest part of making this poster was making sure that the words were able to fit without covering up the extra images.

The pest part of making this poster for me was choosing the right background images and the right extra character images.

Clank clank clank, the fear fall at rainbows end was going up higher and higher,slower and slower. This isn't too bad or to high I thought to myself.Wait no. This is too high too high.!!!

I have such intense butterflies right now,I can barely speak. Why has this super tall machine stopped?… AHHHHHHH, ZOOOOOM!!!!! I can taste my heart,my liver and all sorts of different organs just sitting in my throat!!!As I look down I feel like we are going to smash straight through the ground.

THE INVADER

As I nervously sat in the chair the operators pulled up the harness on to my back. The invader has started to move going faster and faster When I look out in front of me I feel as though i'm about to shoot right of the tracks. After I had been on this terrifying ride for a little while I started to feel a little disorientated so I decided to close my eyes for a second so I didn't feel as scared, but when I did everything went silent and when my eyes opened once again the ride was seconds away for being over. “That was the best ride ever”. Bindi said as we got off. “I can't believe you passed out”.

STEAM - TERM 3
- Coding (Snap4Arduino) and Arduino Boards
In Term 3, the students have been continuing their STEAM learning using the STEAM Electronics kits. They have been learning how to block code using the program Snap4Arduino. The purpose of this learning has been for the students to control one or more LED lights on an electronic arduino board using code. Each week the coding expectation increased and the students showed perseverance in achieving successful outcomes!
Learning Goal 1. To make an LED blink off/on by controlling voltage from 0V to 5V by programming the Arduino.
Learning Goal 2.  To change the speed of blinking to such a high rate that the LED appears to be dimmer.
Learning Goal 3. To make the LED fade on and off by varying the voltage





         2018 - Term 3 STEAM - ‘Coding and Arduino Boards’ Reflective Questions
         1.What was I learning and why?
         I was learning to make more than one LED light flash on and off so that i can control
         one or more LED on an arduino board using code.
         Use technology more because there is a lot of it in the world.


         2.What did I do well and how do I know?
         Help my partner because my partner said that I was really helping her to understand           what to do.
         




            3.What challenged me ……?
           Get up to two LEDs to blink or flash on and off without getting frustrated.
       




            4.What would I do differently next time to make my learning more successful ….. ?
            Read the instructions and not just look at the photos in the booklets 




            5.What have I enjoyed about the learning?
            It is new learning and fun but also a bit challenging at times.
            I got to learn about something  that i never would have understood before.

Maui Dolphin Facts

Did you know that the Maui dolphins have a life span of only up to twenty years that's pretty short when you think about it.

They have short snouts and a robust body witch is absolutely fantastic,they also have round shaped dorsal fins that makes them very unique.

There body is speckled with black and white spots the female dolphins grow up to 5.5 feet in length and weighs about 110 pounds.

The Maui dolphin is the rarest marine dolphin in the world and is close to extinction.

They have a light grey back and there sides are also light grey and have white flashes.

between the blow hole and the eyes they have a crescent black mark.

The females reach sexual maturity at between seven to nine years of age.

they give birth  to a single calf every two to four years.

The females also have 4 calfs in her whole twenty years of life

They tend to spend most of their time making short dives to catch prey on the seafloor witch lasts around ninety seconds.

How To Use Code.Org Atempt Two

This is how to use code.org.

Code.org is a great site that has games and all sorts of fun activities that we use during our steam sesion with Mrs Davan.

I enjoy using code.org but some of the levels in the classic maze can sometimes be a bit challenging because you have a limited amount of blocks that I can use.

Next time I think I will need to read the number of blocks that I can use  so that it is easyer for me to get to the hardest and highest level,level twenty.

if you ever have time to I reckon you deffinitly should go on to this great site.

Term 2 Te Kauru Assembly-Tarakura Of The Rangitaiki Plains

Kuamo He four hundred eyes observing as the haka had started.

It was so close to me that I got a colossal fright.

Lochie was loud and frightening to the crowd of students.

Later on in the intimidating haka the warriors chest and knees were turning red from getting slapped over and over again.

I was laughing so hard inside that i felt like i would need to let out some gas but boy that would be way too embarrassing for me.

Ib held it in and watched the rest of the exciting haka right to last little word out of there huffing and puffing mouths.

The juniors locked there eyes to the stage and had nothing to do but quietly laugh and i know that it was the sight of the boys poukus that made them laugh, i know that because my sister Alyssa came home and said that it was the sight of the warrior's poukus that made her laugh.

Kia ora my name is elly broughton and i go to a great school called paparore school. I live in a family of five. My sister is six years old and loves being lazy and going on youtube and playing with her dolls. We are currently looking after a eleven year old boy named leroy and he absolutely loves going outside and playing with animals like me.e a older brother who’s name is blake his favourite thing to do is definitely to be super lazy and play a game on his playstation called fortnite.

I am mostly good at drawing and coloring i like arts and crafts as well as basic facts. I am challenging myself to be able to draw a really realistic eye. My goal for this year is to join a netball team and become a good netballer.

This year i am mostly looking forward to our class camp but right now it is a mystery to where we are going. This year i am going to try to get an award at our end of year prizegiving.
